Travelling to Estes Park in late October. Is there snow and any recommendations on outdoor hiking activities?

I was just up there at Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday, (Oct. 7, 08), for a hike, and there is no snow there yet but it’s definitely starting to cool off. You might encounter snow there in late October. One way to find out about snow there is to look at their visitor center webcam here:

As far as hiking, there is lots of hiking there. I did the hike to Cub Lake yesterday, which is relatively easy but I also like the hikes to Bierstadt Lake, Mills Lake, and Dream Lake, among others. There are also a good number of waterfall hikes there although there won’t be as much water in them in late October. One of the easiest of those is the hike to Alberta Falls.
